Seratt attends Macon's Cornfield Combat

Finley, Tennessee’s Lane Seratt returned to the Land of Lincoln over the weekend for the two-day Cornfield Combat at Macon Speedway.

Pulling double duty in both the Outlaw Winged Micro and Restricted Winged Micro divisions on Friday and Saturday, Seratt’s weekend got off to a mixed start. He came up short of transferring in the Outlaw Winged Micro B-Feature on Friday, but delivered a strong performance in the Restricted class—charging forward 11 positions in the 25-lap feature to finish eighth.

On Saturday, Seratt ran sixth in his Outlaw Winged Micro heat before scratching from the B-Feature to focus solely on Restricted competition. He capped off the weekend with another solid run, finishing eighth in the finale after slipping back two spots.
