Seratt drives to third at Southern Illinois Raceway
Finley, Tennessee's Lane Seratt did his best to conquer the best Saturday night at Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Illinois, but when the dust finally settled, he was just two spots short, concluding the 600cc Outlaw Winged Micro main event in the third position - charging ahead six positions from ninth to do so.
It was Seratt's preliminary effort that set the tone for the evening, first recording the fastest time in warm ups, racing on to finish second in his respective heat race - he started from the pole.
There were 33 Outlaw competitors signed in at the Southern Illinois bullring with West Frankfort, Illinois' Sam Morthland earning the overall title. Seratt, recording his best result of the season, was the only wheelman entered from Tennessee.
